My name is Lisa and I am a senior solo traveler. I love travel, and have had a passport since I was 7 years old. Since the passing of my partner, I have been traveling around the world solo for the last 15+ years and have been to over 50 countries. I especially enjoy learning how other cultures negotiate life on our small planet.
Like lots of seniors, I have some not-insignificant mobility issues along with some health issues. I firmly believe just because you may be older and for whatever reason find yourself contemplating a solo trip, nothing should stop you.
Step out of your comfort zone, and who knows what you might find?
Let's go!
Travel in this blog is photographed and experienced by me. I do not travel with an entourage documenting my “solo” travel. It's just me. Some of the links throughout the blog are affiliate links. If you make a purchase through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
While Lisa does all the boots on the ground traveling research and writes all the content, Kristin is the web designer behind the actual blog site. After a long career in the wellness industry, Kristin has newly pivoted into the tech industry. Her passion for creativty and beauty reflects in her work. When she isn't at her laptop you can bet she is somewhere outside on the trail. To see more of her work or to connect on a project visit her business www.kristinlarsondesigns.com
